Verify that all parts shown in the picture are present.

Remove the existing fairlead if there is one to be replaced.

Remove any existing hooks from winch line so that the line may be passed through the fairlead.

Install one washer and button head screw through the fairlead, and then pass the winch line through the fairlead.

Insert the screw through the fairlead mounting hole and let the fairlead hang.

Install a flanged nut on the backside of the screw and thread it on a few turns.

Insert hardware through the other side of the fairlead and install nut on backside.

Snug hardware on each side. With hardware snug, position the fairlead so that the winch line cannot contact the fairlead mount or bumper mount edges.

With the fairlead correctly positioned, torque hardware to 25 lb-ft [34 Nm].

Install hook on winch line and re-spool the winch line.

Recheck hardware and winch line periodically to prevent failure.

Installation is complete!
